Applause began in 1997 with a vision to serve our community by providing local children the opportunity to produce, act, and crew live theatrical performances at venues in the area.
Over the years, music and speech classes have been added as a supplement to schools that were not able to fund these programs.
Then, five years ago, the second generation of the Applause family opened a private, non-profit middle school in order to give local children with homeschool backgrounds an opportunity to experience in-classroom education.
This third generation of the Applause family is now expanding our vision even further with the creation of Ray’s Hope. We are so proud that this young group is already exceeding our most enthusiastic expectations.
